These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Maxus Parts website (maxusvanparts.co.uk) and any purchases made through it. By using our website and placing orders, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General
1.1. These terms apply to all orders placed through our website. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately.
1.2. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
1.3. All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the applicable rate unless otherwise stated.
2. Orders and Acceptance
2.1. Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance by us.
2.2. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending an order confirmation email. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch the goods.
2.3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to: product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
2.4. It is your responsibility to ensure that the parts ordered are compatible with your vehicle. We recommend using our vehicle lookup tools or contacting us if you are unsure. We are not liable for parts ordered in error.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1. We make every effort to ensure that prices on our website are accurate. If we discover a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
3.2. Payment is required at the time of ordering. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro.
3.3. All payments are processed securely. We do not store your card details on our servers.
3.4. Trade account customers may be offered alternative payment terms subject to a separate trade account agreement.
4. Delivery
4.1. We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.
4.2. Delivery charges are calculated based on order weight, size and destination. Delivery costs will be displayed at checkout before you complete your order.
4.3. Risk of loss and damage passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect goods on arrival and report any damage or missing items within 48 hours.
4.4. If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by you, additional delivery charges may apply.
5. Returns and Refunds
5.1. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided the items are unused, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition.
5.2. To initiate a return, please contact us at accounts@vanparts-direct.co.uk or call 01953 528 800 with your order number.
5.3. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or we have sent the wrong part.
5.4. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
5.5. We cannot accept returns on:
- Electrical parts that have been fitted or connected
- Items that have been modified, damaged or are not in their original packaging
- Special order or non-stocked items ordered specifically for you
5.6. If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or full refund including return postage costs.
6. Warranties and Liability
6.1. All parts sold are genuine Maxus parts or approved equivalent parts. Parts carry the manufacturer’s standard warranty unless otherwise stated.
6.2. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from the use of parts purchased from us, including but not limited to vehicle downtime, loss of earnings, or labour costs.
6.3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Vehicle Compatibility
7.1. Our website provides vehicle lookup tools and part diagrams to assist you in finding the correct parts. While we endeavour to ensure accuracy, these tools are provided as a guide only.
7.2. If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us before ordering. We are happy to verify part numbers against your vehicle’s VIN.
7.3. We are not responsible for parts ordered that are incompatible with your vehicle where you have not consulted us or used our lookup tools incorrectly.
8. Trade Accounts
8.1. Trade accounts are available for qualifying businesses. Trade account applications are subject to approval and may require credit checks.
8.2. Trade account terms, including credit limits and payment terms, are set out in the separate trade account agreement provided upon approval.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1. All content on this website, including images, text, diagrams, logos and part numbers, is the property of Van Parts Direct Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
9.2. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
10. Privacy
10.1. Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and placing orders, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in that policy.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
